Where the timings come from

Every timing on this site is the official MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura) prayer timetable — the same waktu solat used by mosques across Singapore. We do not compute our own times or use a generic calculation method; we publish the authoritative MUIS timetable exactly as gazetted.

• Daily prayer times come from the official MUIS timetable, distributed through the government open-data portal, data.gov.sg, so they match the published schedule for every day of the year.
• The times are specific to Singapore — a single set of timings for the whole island, as issued by MUIS, rather than an approximation for a nearby city.

How we keep it current

The timetable data is sourced from data.gov.sg, so the whole year's timings are already in place and the next day's times roll over automatically at midnight. Each new year's MUIS timetable is added as soon as it is published on the open-data portal. If a source ever disagrees, the official MUIS timing is the one that stands.

Anyone in Singapore who needs to know when the next prayer falls — whether you are planning your day, timing iftar and sahur during Ramadan, or checking the Qibla direction. The full yearly timetable is there when you want to look further ahead than today.

A note on accuracy

Prayer times are a matter of worship, so accuracy matters more than anything else here. The MUIS timetable is public, so you can always verify a timing for yourself. Where there is any doubt, follow the announcement at your local mosque, which remains the final word for your area.
